Bergamasca IGT Rosé wine

Description

Bergamo’s winemaking tradition is not limited to Designations of Origin, but also includes a Typical Geographical Indication named Bergamasca.
As the name suggests, the vines are grown on expanses of land in the Bargamo area, encompassing about seventy kilometers from the Adda River to Lake Iseo, hilly areas such as the Cavallina Valley, the lower Camonica Valley from Lovere to Rogno, the western shore of Lake Iseo, the Seriana Valley and the Brembana Valley.

Bergamasca IGT Rosé wine must be made up of at least 85% of grape varieties approved by the province of Bergamo. The entire production process and the alcohol content (min. 10°) are regulated by strict rules.
This cerasol wine is a perfect match for pasta or delicate cheeses.

Curiosities

The Consortium for the Protection of Valcalepio brand certifies and enhances its top quality. The Valcalepio Consortium’s emblem features a famous Medieval leader, Bartolomeo Colleoni.
