\nThe B&B A Casa Mia offers no-smoking rooms, satellite TV, Dvd Player, Internet access, bathroom with hairdryer. There is a big room, ideal for families, that can host up to fourpeople, with private bathroom (outside of the room) and a balcony with view of the hills. Two double rooms with shared bathroom: Red Room with balcony and Green Room with window on the medieval town.
\nEach room could have queen-size bed or single bed and if you request it you can have an extra bed. There is also the possibility to ask for a cradle up to 2 years old and and high chair. Those who wish can make use of an iron and an ironing table.

A few steps away is the birthplace of Gaetano Donizetti and Alfredo Piatti,, Bergamo 800 famous musicians, in the ancient Borgo Canale and the funicular leading to the hill of San Vigilio, with the remains of the castle and the panoramic terraces from which you can admire one of the most suggestive view of the old town and the surrounding valleys.
\nThrough the historical doors will reach the heart of the Upper Town, Piazza Vecchia, the Contarini Fountain, Palazzo della Ragione, the civic tower called Il Campanone, which still today at 10pm, hundred shots \u2013the ones that in the past announced the closing night of the gates of the Venetian walls.
\nFor those who enjoy walking, close to the B&B A Casa Mia are a few typical stairways that lead to the Lower Town, where you can visit the Accademia Carrara and Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, know as GAMEC or go shopping in the center.

Arrival by Bus
\nAIRPORT
\nFrom the airport you can get bus N\u00b01 Aeroporto \u2013Citt\u00e0 Alta until the bus terminal Colle Aperto.\u2028It runs about every 20\u2019 during daytime and it costs \u20ac2,30 per pers.\u2028The B&B is 200 meters from the bus stop. Go through Porta S.Alessandro (beside \u201cBar-Ristorante La Marianna\u201d) walking on the left side and go straight trough Via Tre Armi until the STOP signs. On the right there is \u201cVia degli Orti\u201d, the B&B is the first house on the left, number 1.
\nTRAIN STATION
\nThe Bergamo Train Station is about a couple of kilometers away and is connected with direct service to city buses. The Bus stop is in front of the exit from the railway station building.You can buy ticket from the newspaper stand inside the railway station itself, at automatic machines or at any tobacco shop. Take bus N\u00b01 STAZIONE-CITTA\u2019 ALTA (not FUNICOLARE or AIRPORT) until the bus terminus Colle Aperto. The B&B is 200 meters from the bus stop. Go through Porta S.Alessandro and go straight until the STOP signs.On the right there is \u201cVia degli Orti\u201d, the B&B is the first house on the left, number 1.
\nArrival by Car
\nHIGHWAY
\nComing by highway number A4, either from Milan or from Venice, get out at Bergamo exit (there\u2019s just one). After paying the toll follow the white sign towards the city center (Bergamo centro), that is the third road on the right. Drive along this two lane road as far as the first traffic light, and turn to the right, following the \u201cCitt\u00e0 Alta\u201d signs: they will lead you as far as a large boulevard (Viale Papa Giovanni). Follow it all away towards the upper part of town (Citt\u00e0 Alta): it will bring you to one of the gates of the old upper part of town (Sant\u2019 Agostino gate). Go through it\u00a0and keep left along the Walls, go straight for Km1,7 until you get to Colle Aperto. Turn left, there is a small roundabout and another historical gate Porta S.Alessandro, beside \u201cBar-Ristorante La Marianna\u201d. Go through Porta S.Alessandro and go straight in Via Tre Armi until the STOP signs. On the right there is \u201cVia degli Orti\u201d, the B&B is the first house on the left, number 1. Keep as close as possible to\u00a0the wall since it is a one-way road. As soon as you arrive we will show you where you can have a free-park in the area close to the B&B.
\nAIRPORT
\nGetting out from the airport take to the right and after 200-300 mt to the right again, following the sign \u201cBergamo\u201d. You will be driving along a four lanes road for a short while, then, before a roundabout, take an underpass on the right, following the indication \u201cAlle Valli\u201d. Keep going and you will come out on another four lanes road, where you are supposed to follow the first exit to the right, where it says \u201cBergamo Centro\u201d. You will get to another big roundabout where you take the second exit on the right, always following \u201cBergamo Centro\u201d and \u201cCitt\u00e0 Alta\u201d. At the first traffic light, turn right and at the following one, turn left. You will drive underneath the railroad, right after it, keep following \u201cCitt\u00e0 Alta\u201d signs: they will lead you as far as a large boulevard (Viale Papa Giovanni).
