The bill of events of “Biblofestival” continues: in Arcene a workshop with Associazione Saltabanco and a play by La Baracca – Testoni Ragazzi.
Associazione Saltabanco proposes the workshop “Shooting Stars” :in the Universe, by order of the cosmic hen, all stars stopped falling. The cosmic hen said she could put up with falling teeth and hair, hibernating bears, smelly and smoky groundhogs and potholes, but not falling stars. Stars are meant to be seen and to shine, fixed in the blue sky. The cook of the universe warned her, “Either you invent something, or I’ll cook you. People want to dream and they want shooting stars back.” For lack of food he cooked it and invented shooting stars for all the pizzerias in the universe. Make your own, well baked! You will use scissors, staplers, various glues to combine different materials together. Main ingredients: imagination, manual dexterity and creativity.
This is followed by the play “Grogh, story of a beaver” by La Baracca – Testoni ragazzi. Fabio, a somewhat quirky gentleman, is a big fan of beavers. He knows everything, or almost everything, about the little rodents. He knows their history, habits, customs and their extraordinary social organization. “Little People,” is what Native Americans call beavers. And among the members of the “Little People,” the Grogh beaver is a true legend. We will retrace the epic of Grogh and his colony and, as in Alberto Manzi’s book of the same name, experience the daily struggle of this species to survive in the forest and the heroic resistance against the most relentless of predators, man.
The event will be held at: Peasant Civilization Square. The workshop in case of bad weather will be held in the Portico of the Library – Peasant Civilization Square, the performance at the Multipurpose HallVia Torrazzo, 2 with entrance from Peasant Civilization Square
