At 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. guided tours of the World War II air raid shelters in Dalmine, an opportunity to learn about the protective works for the population designed in 1939 by the Air Raid Defense Commission.
The air-raid shelters on Via Trieste, in the heart of Dalmine’s working-class neighborhood (Garbagni district), are reopening to the public.
They can only be visited by guided tour on calendar dates. The tour takes about 45 minutes and is held even in bad weather.
Please note that the bunkers enjoy extremely large rooms but are placed at a depth of 20 meters deep (there is no elevator).
Tours will take place at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
